Upper East Side Family Terrace

This 400 square foot office terrace was designed for a family of eight living in an Upper East Side Townhouse. As is the case with many buildings in the city, the back of the townhouse is exposed to another building with residents who can peer in. One aspect of the design was to mitigate that "fish bowl" feeling by creating a more private space. The design also included a green roof and imported English limestone.

We worked with the interior designer Eve Robinson on this project as seen in the September '13 issue of New York Spaces.
