The Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse is an annual installation that features numerous designers as they transform a single brownstone into a showcase for their talents and vision. SilverLining Inc. recommended us to Stollar Fearins Welch, who then approached us to help design and plant the landscape of the rooftop. We jumped at the opportunity and began discussing what aesthetic they had in mind and various details we could integrate into their vision. In addition to the planting, we added design elements such as the checkerboard pattern of synthetic turf and various lighting elements. Below is an excerpt from SFW’s feature on the Showhouse, as well as photos of the space (all photos by Lesley Unruh (@allenunruh) courtesy of Stollar Fearins Welch). The installation is open the the public through November 1st with tickets and information available at www.brooklyndesignershowhouse.com.
